  • 3 cups Corn Chex Cereal
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex Cereal
  • 3 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups mini salted pretzels
  • 1 cup Rye bagel chips
  • 1 cup mixed nuts optional
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
  • cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoons Lawry’s seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 250ºF (120ºC).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, Rice Chex cereals, mini salted pretzels, rye bagel chips, and mixed nuts if using. Mix gently to evenly distribute.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Whisk in the Worcestershire sauce, Lawry’s seasoned salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until well blended.
  4. Gradually pour the butter mixture over the cereal mix, stirring with your hands or a large spoon after each addition to ensure everything is fully and evenly coated.
  5. Spread the coated mix evenly onto two large rimmed baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 1 hour at 250ºF, stirring every 15 minutes and rotating the trays from top to bottom.
  7. Once the mix turns golden brown and crisp, remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
