Ingredients
  

Turkey Mixture
  • 1 lb ground turkey lean
  • 1 cup bread crumbs preferably seasoned
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tsp sage dried
  • 1 tsp thyme dried
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup celery finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, beaten egg, sage, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. If using, add the chopped celery, onion, and parsley to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
Form the Balls
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Using your hands, form the turkey mixture into balls about 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the balls are golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These turkey stuffing balls can be made ahead of time and frozen. Just bake them straight from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
