  • 2 cups cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup carrots shredded
  • 1 cup cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup green onions sliced
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds toasted
Dressing Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated

Method
 

Prepare the Salad
  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, carrots, cooked chicken, green onions, and toasted sesame seeds.
  2. Toss the ingredients together until well mixed.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
Combine and Serve
  1. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
