Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 cups green grapes
  • 1 bottle champagne or prosecco
  • 1 cup cane sugar

Method
 

  1. Wash the grapes thoroughly and remove each grape from the stem.
  2. Using a toothpick, poke several holes in each grape.
  3. Place the pierced grapes in a large bowl and pour the bottle of prosecco or champagne over them. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a minimum of 8 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. After marination, drain the prosecco from the grapes.
  5. While the grapes are still wet, toss them in cane sugar.
  6. Spread the sugar-coated grapes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place them in the freezer or refrigerate until ready to serve.
  7. Enjoy the prosecco grapes chilled or frozen.
