Ingredients
  

Meat and Pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni uncooked
Vegetables
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 medium bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Liquids and Seasonings
  • 2 cups beef broth or chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
Cheese
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
Toppings
  • 1 cup pickles sliced
  • 1 cup tomatoes diced

Method
 

Cook the Beef and Vegetables
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Stir in the uncooked elbow macaroni, beef broth, milk, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
Add Cheese and Serve
  1. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  2. Serve hot, topped with sliced pickles and diced tomatoes.
