Ingredients
  

Chicken Patties
  • 1 lb ground chicken preferably lean
  • 1 cup bread crumbs preferably whole wheat
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1/4 cup parsley fresh, chopped
For Cooking
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, feta cheese, and parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter.
Cook the Patties
  1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the patties to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serve
  1. Remove the patties from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with a side salad or in a pita.
