Method
Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the linguine in a colander.
Cook the Chicken
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Prepare the Cowboy Butter Sauce
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
Combine and Serve
- Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the chicken. Pour the cowboy butter sauce over the pasta and toss to combine.
- If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
