Prepare the Sauce
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- If using cornstarch, mix it with water in a small bowl until smooth, then add to the honey mixture.
Cook Broccoli
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add broccoli florets and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Cook Shrimp
- Push the broccoli to one side of the skillet and add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
Combine and Serve
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles if desired.
