Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups fresh peaches peeled and diced

Method
 

Prepare the Oven and Pan
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
Mix Dry Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
Cream Butter and Sugar
  1. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs and Vanilla
  1. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Mixtures
  1. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
Fold in Peaches
  1. Gently fold in the diced peaches until evenly distributed.
Bake the Bread
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
  1. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
