Method
Prepare the Oven and Pan
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan with coconut oil.
Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
Mix Wet Ingredients
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, honey, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Combine Mixtures
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Fill the Donut Pan
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
