Ingredients

Pasta
  • 12 oz penne pasta or any pasta of your choice
Ground Turkey
  • 1 lb ground turkey
Vegetables
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper any color
Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Method

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Turkey Mixture
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet with the turkey. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
Make the Creamy Sauce
  1. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer, then add the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
Combine Pasta and Sauce
  1. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Serve
  1. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
