Ingredients
  

Pasta and Beef
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta or farfalle
  • 1 lb ground beef preferably lean
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
Prepare the Beef
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Make the Sauce
  1. Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy beef sauce.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
