- In a small bowl, combine hot boiled water, Beef Better Than Bouillon, and brown sugar. Stir until dissolved. Add soy sauce and set aside.
- Dice the carrots, broccoli, and onion into roughly two-inch pieces. Slice the beef into thin strips.
- Heat a skillet over high heat and add sesame oil. Cook beef strips until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Remove beef and set aside.
- Sauté diced onions in the same skillet until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Remove onions and set aside.
- Sauté carrots in the same skillet until starting to soften, about 4 minutes. Add broccoli and cook for an additional 3 minutes until crisp-tender. Return onions to the pan.
- Press garlic cloves into the vegetable mixture and stir. Return cooked beef to the skillet.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and vegetables. Simmer for about 2 minutes.
- Add cooked lo mein noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce and combine with beef and veggies.
- Transfer lo mein to a large serving dish and toss gently. Serve immediately.
