Decoration Steps
- Ensure your cupcakes are fully cooled before decorating. Pre-cut the mini marshmallows in half.
- Attach your decorating tip (Wilton #32 recommended but optional) to the disposable bag and fill it with the red frosting.
- Pipe a ring of red frosting onto the top of each cupcake.
- Place the halved mini marshmallows around the frosting ring.
- Fill the circle with more red frosting, piping upwards and swirling to create the peaked shape of Santa’s hat.
- Place a halved mini marshmallow at the peak as the pom-pom.
- Place decorated cupcakes in the refrigerator for a few minutes to allow the frosting to firm up before serving.
