Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 cups green grapes washed and stem removed
  • 1 bottle champagne or prosecco for soaking
  • 1 cup cane sugar for coating

Method
 

  1. Wash the grapes thoroughly and remove each grape from the stem.
  2. Using a toothpick, poke several holes in each grape.
  3. Place the pierced grapes in a large bowl and pour the prosecco or champagne over them.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a minimum of 8 hours, preferably overnight.
  5. After marination, drain the prosecco from the grapes, saving it for a cocktail if desired.
  6. While the grapes are still wet, toss them in cane sugar.
  7. Spread the sugar-coated grapes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Place them in the freezer or refrigerate until ready to serve.
  9. Enjoy the prosecco grapes chilled or frozen.
