Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 2 cups fresh peaches diced
  • 1 cup fresh cherries pitted and chopped
  • 1 medium red onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium jalapeño seeded and minced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional for sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Dice the fresh peaches and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Pit and chop the cherries, then add them to the bowl.
  3. Finely chop the red onion and jalapeño, and add to the mixture.
Mix the Salsa
  1. Add lime juice, honey (if using), chopped cilantro, and salt to the bowl.
  2. Gently toss all ingredients together until well combined.
Serve
  1. Let the salsa sit for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled meats.
