Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. salted butter
  • 1 (10-oz.) package mini marshmallows
  • 7 drops green gel food coloring or 1 tsp. water-based green food coloring
  • 5 cups cornflakes
  • Nonstick cooking spray for your hands
  • 45 pieces small red cinnamon candies

Equipment

  • Large saucepan
  • Baking sheets
  • Parchment paper
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until melted and smooth. Stir in the green food coloring to tint the mixture.
  3. Add the cornflakes to the melted marshmallow mixture, gently stirring until well coated. Let it cool slightly.
  4. Spray your hands with nonstick cooking spray. Take about 1/3 cup of the cornflake mixture and form it into a log shape, then connect the ends to form a circular wreath. Place it onto the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  5. Place 3 small red cinnamon candies evenly spaced on each wreath. Let sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes or until firm.
