Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks canned or fresh
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce optional for added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Season the chicken with garlic powder.
Add the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, pineapple chunks, and soy sauce.
  2. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
Cook
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Serve
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
