Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup salsa your choice of heat
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup sliced jalapeños optional
  • 1 cup chopped green onions for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle the taco seasoning evenly over the chicken.
Add Sauce
  1. Pour the nacho cheese sauce and salsa over the seasoned chicken.
Cook
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Shred Chicken
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot and mix with the sauce.
Serve
  1. Serve the nacho chicken over tortilla chips or in taco shells, topped with shredded cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, and green onions.
