Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cooked pasta penne or rotini works well
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning adjust to taste
  • 1 cup bell pepper diced
  • 1 cup onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Place the chicken pieces in the crock pot.
  2. Add the diced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic on top of the chicken.
Add Liquids and Seasoning
  1. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream.
  2. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the mixture.
Cook the Mixture
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Cook the Pasta
  1. About 15 minutes before serving, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain and set aside.
Combine and Serve
  1. Once the chicken is cooked, stir in the cooked pasta and grated parmesan cheese until well combined.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy your creamy Cajun chicken pasta!
