Prepare the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Set the cream cheese mixture aside.
Prepare the Crescent Rolls
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on a baking sheet.
Assemble the Bites
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.
- Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point.
- Pinch the ends to seal and place them back on the baking sheet.
Add Cranberry Topping
- Top each rolled crescent with a small spoonful of cranberry sauce and a sprinkle of orange zest.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
