Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 lb Ground Beef 80/20 blend for best flavor
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
Burger Toppings
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 buns Burger Buns Toasted
  • 1 cup Lettuce Shredded
  • 1 tomato Tomato Sliced
  • 1/2 cup Pickles Sliced
Special Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Method
 

Prepare the Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
Make the Special Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth.
Grill the Burgers
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
  2. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Spread the special sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  2. Top with lettuce, a grilled patty, tomato slices, and pickles. Place the top bun on and serve immediately.
