Cheeseball Base
  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 4 cups cheddar cheese finely shredded
  • 4 count green onions chopped
  • 4 ounces diced pimientos drained
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Decorations
  • 12 count cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 count yellow pepper chopped and cut into a star shape
  • 1 assorted crackers and pretzels for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Slowly add the cheddar cheese, green onions, pimientos, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, beating until combined.
  2. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld and the mixture firm up.
  3. Remove from the refrigerator and shape into a Christmas tree on a serving platter.
  4. Decorate the cheeseball with cherry tomatoes, parsley, sliced almonds, and place the star-shaped yellow pepper on top.
  5. Arrange crackers and pretzels around the cheeseball for serving.
