Ingredients
  

Beef
  • 1 pound flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
Vegetables
  • 2 medium onions sliced
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger minced
Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch for thickening
  • 2 tablespoons water
Oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for stir frying

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
Cook the Beef
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
Stir Fry Vegetables
  1. In the same wok, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the onions, bell pepper, garlic, and ginger. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Combine and Serve
  1. Return the beef to the wok, pour the sauce over, and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
