Prepare the Meatloaf
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased casserole dish.
Bake the Meatloaf
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Remove from the oven and top with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Top with sour cream and sliced green onions before serving.
- Slice and serve warm.
