Method
Prepare the Green Beans
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Drain the green beans in a colander and set aside.
Sauté Garlic
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Combine and Cook
- Add the drained green beans to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add Cheese
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the green beans. Cover the skillet and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Serve
- Remove from heat and serve warm as a delicious side dish.
