  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¾ cup Panko bread crumbs
  • Cooking spray
  • Extra Panko bread crumbs for coating (optional)

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, smoked ham, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, Dijon mustard, and eggs. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  2. Gradually incorporate the Panko bread crumbs into the mixture, mixing continuously until firm enough to hold its shape.
  3. Take small portions of the chicken mixture and wrap them around each Swiss cheese cube, shaping them into approximately 2-inch balls.
  4. For extra crispiness, roll each bite in additional Panko bread crumbs.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Place the bites in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch, and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes at 400°F, flipping halfway through and spraying again with cooking spray for a golden brown exterior.
  8. Serve hot with Dijon cream sauce, honey mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce.
