Prepare the Ingredients
- Slice the brie cheese, fresh figs, and apple.
- Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
Assemble the Sandwiches
- On the unbuttered side of four slices of bread, layer brie cheese, fig slices, and apple slices.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
Grill the Sandwiches
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
