Ingredients
  

Bread
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
Cheese
  • 8 oz brie cheese rind removed and sliced
Fruits
  • 1 cup fresh figs sliced
  • 1 medium apple cored and thinly sliced
Butter
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Slice the brie cheese, fresh figs, and apple.
  2. Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. On the unbuttered side of four slices of bread, layer brie cheese, fig slices, and apple slices.
  2. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side facing out.
Grill the Sandwiches
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve
  1. Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
