Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Cheesecake Layer
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup blackberries fresh or frozen

Method
 

Prepare the Brownie Base
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Make the Cheesecake Layer
  1. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until creamy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the blackberries.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie base in the pan.
Bake and Serve
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until set.
  2. Allow to cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
  3. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
