Ingredients
  

Crab Mixture
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs preferably panko
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Coating
  • 1 cup bread crumbs for coating
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
Oil Spray
  • as needed cooking spray for air frying

Method
 

Prepare the Crab Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, beaten egg, bread crumbs, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls or patties.
Coat the Crab Bites
  1. In a shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs and paprika. Roll each crab bite in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
Air Fry the Crab Bites
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the crab bites in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching.
  3. Spray the tops of the crab bites lightly with cooking spray.
  4. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
Serve
  1. Remove the crab bites from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
