Method
Prepare the Crab Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, beaten egg, bread crumbs, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls or patties.
Coat the Crab Bites
- In a shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs and paprika. Roll each crab bite in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
Air Fry the Crab Bites
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the crab bites in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching.
- Spray the tops of the crab bites lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
Serve
- Remove the crab bites from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
