  • 300 g boneless white fish (cod, haddock, or tilapia), cut into cubes
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 12 tsp peri peri seasoning
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Marinate the fish in vinegar, peri peri seasoning, ginger garlic paste, salt, and black pepper. Toss with flour to coat.
  2. In one bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with additional flour; in another bowl, whisk together an egg and milk.
  3. Dip each marinated fish piece in the egg mixture, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  4. Choose your cooking method: deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown (3-4 minutes), air-fry at 180°C for 10-15 minutes (flipping halfway), or bake at 200°C for about 15-18 minutes.
