  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • Reserved pasta water, as needed

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear the chicken until golden brown (6–8 minutes). Remove from the pan.
  4. Lower heat and melt butter in the skillet; add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in honey and simmer for one minute.
  6. Add heavy cream, stirring until smooth; let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and mix well with the sauce.
  8. Combine cooked pasta into the skillet; add reserved pasta water if necessary for consistency.
