  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (grape, strawberry, or your favorite flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Mix in the peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Dollop jelly over it and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Add the remaining batter on top, dollop more jelly, and swirl again.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
