  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 56 peaches, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Cube the butter and melt it in a 9×13 inch baking dish for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; then add milk and vanilla until just combined.
  4. Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup; layer half over melted butter in the dish.
  5. Pour batter over the peaches (do not stir) and layer remaining peaches on top.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
  7. For the maple butter drizzle, combine melted butter and maple syrup in a small pan over medium heat for about two minutes.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature with ice cream drizzled with maple butter.
