  • 2 cups (4 sticks / 454 g) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups (400 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 cups (336 g) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (109 g) pecans, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare your baking sheet by lining a large rimmed sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium heavy-bottom saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and sugar. Stir continuously until melted, reaching a temperature of 285°F (dark amber color).
  3. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and let it sit for 1-2 minutes before sprinkling chocolate chips on top. Spread the melted chocolate evenly.
  4. Sprinkle finely chopped pecans over the melted chocolate and gently press them in.
  5. Allow to cool at room temperature for about an hour until set.
  6. Break into pieces and enjoy!
