  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or panko)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola oil works best)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crab meat by draining and patting it dry for optimal crispiness.
  2. In one bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat the egg.
  3. Lightly coat each piece of crab meat in flour, dip into the egg wash, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
