  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter (diced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your muffin tin by greasing it or lining it with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined. Fold in the cherries carefully.
  5. For the cobbler topping, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Add diced butter and blend until crumbly.
  6. Fill each muffin cup two-thirds full with batter and sprinkle the cobbler topping over each muffin.
